A flash crisis strikes again – and it created an embarrassing situation for The Red Cross. A social media manager for the organization mixed up her personal twitter with the organization’s twitter and posted the following (awkward) post: “Ryan found two more 4 bottle packs of Dogfish Head’s Midas Touch beer…when we drink we do it right.”
The Red Cross took a unique approach to handling this flash crisis and posted this humorous response acknowledging the ‘rogue tweet’: “We’ve deleted the rogue tweet but rest assured the Red Cross is sober and we’ve confiscated the keys.”
